Fortified complex whose construction was commissioned by the Caliph of Cordoba, Abd ar-Rahman III in 995 and finished by Hayran, taifa king of Almeria, in the 11th century. The complex was enlarged under calihp Al-Mansur and, later, under Al-Jairan. Puerta de la Justicia (Justice Gate)
