Spain, Andalusia, Granada. Casa de los Tiros (House of the Shots). Facade of the 16th century Renaissance building. It was constructed between 1530 and 1540 in a similar style than other palaces in the city from that period. The facade originally formed part of the defensive wall surrounding the area where the potters had their workshops. The only decoration on the facade is five large, almost life-size sculptures representing ancient heroes, which are placed on corbels. Detail of the sculpture representing Hercules
