Spain, Extremadura, Caceres province, Valencia de Alcantara. Church of Nuestra Senora de Rocamador (Our Lady of Rocamador). Erected in the 15th century, it was the place in October 1497 for the wedding between the King of Portugal, Don Manuel the Fortunate and Dona Isabel, daughter of the Catholic Monarchs, which was attended by the Queen. The present church was built in 1546, but was seriously damaged in 1664 after the war between Spain and Portugal. At the end of the 17th century it was rebuilt
