White Star Line, RMS Teutonic launch, royal visitors

1889 photograph - RMS Teutonic - from an album of images relating to the launch of the vessel, which was built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast, for the White Star Line - later to achieve notoriety as the owner of the Titanic. The album shows interiors of the ship, member of the crew, trial cruises, including a visit onboard by the German Kaiser and Prince of Wales, as well as many images of other visitors. This image - visit to the ship by Prince Edward, the Prince of Wales, the German Emperor Wilhelm II, Prince Henry of Prussia and Prince Albert Victor
