"The Air War that commenced in England last night was continued this evening: Raids are being made on London and its surroundings by enemy bombing aircraft, while 192 defending fighters try to prevent 176 bombers from carrying out their fell work'". Hawker Nimrod I (including K2824) pilots of the Fleet Air Arm from 800 Squadron from HMS Courageous receiving last minute instructions before taking off against enemy bombers. 23 July 1935
