Flt Lt Tommy Rose, DFC (1895-1968) signs an autograph for Miss Gogo Schiaparelli, the daughter of the famous dress designer, alongside BAIV Double Eagle, G-AEIN, The Perfect Lady, at Hanworth in September 1936, prior to taking part in the Schlesinger Portsmouth to Johannesburg race flown by Tommy Rose. The aircraft was named after the winning cocktail at a Wine and Spirit Exhibition in London
