Schneider Trophy 1929 - Waghorn boarding his Supermarine S.6
On 7th September 1929, Flying Officer Henry Richard Danvers Waghorn, a pilot with the Royal Air Force High-Speed Flight based at RAF Calshot, flew a Supermarine S.6, N247, to win the Coupe d'Aviation Maritime Jacques Schneider (Schneider Cup) race.
