British Mark IX or supply tank, WW1
A British Mark IX or supply tank, designed in 1917 as a non-fighting tank used for carrying supplies or men through a fire zone. Because of its shape it was nicknamed The Pig. Only a few reached France before the end of the First World War. Seen here at Foster's Works, Lincoln
