British Pom Pom anti-aircraft gun, WW1
A British one pounder Pom Pom anti-aircraft gun, mounted on a field gun carriage. It was used by the 6th Siege Battery RGA (Royal Garrison Artillery) during the First World War. The Pom Pom (the name comes from the sound it made when fired) was designed in 1890 by Hiram Maxim and continued in use until 1918
