British troops in France WWII
As some of the farmer's horses have been commandeered by the French Army, these farmers have been handicapped in their ploughing. To meet their shortage, the British troops are coming to their assistance by helping them with the ploughing. These pictures show the Royal Irish Fusiliers carrying out tests with their Bren gun carriers with a view to helping the French farmers to plough their land
