British troops, from either the 9th Battalion Hampshire Regiment or 25th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, parade in Vladivostok, their first port of call on their way to Omsk, in Siberia. The battalions formed part of the Allied Intervention Force, in support of the anti-Bolshevik White army fighting the Russian Civil War
