Bulgarians on the Macedonian Front
Bulgarian troops occupy a position on the Macedonian Front. Following a failed Allied attempt to prevent the fall of Serbia in 1915, a front was established, running from the Adriatic coast in Albania to the Struma River. On one side were the multinational Allied forces comprising France, Britain, Serbia, Italy, Russia and Greece. On the other were the Central Powers of Germany, Austria-Hungary and Bulgaria
