General Sir Julian Byng
Field Marshal Julian Hedworth George Byng, 1st Viscount Byng of Vimy (1862 - 1935) here during World War One in 1917. Later that year in November to December, Byng commanded the British Third Army at the Battle of Cambrai, the first to use surprise tank attacks
