Kitchener Camp WWII
Refugees at Kitchener Camp during World War II waiting outside one of the entrances to the dining hall for dinner. 3300 men eat in two shifts in the three dining rooms, which all spread out from the same kitchen. Before the war they had a whistle to announce meals, but it sounded so much like an air raid warning that it had to be abandoned; now there is no signal
