Letter to Mata Hari, dancer, courtesan and possible spy

A letter from an admirer, Mr Harold Hartley, to Mata Hari (stage name of Margaretha Geertruida Grietje Zelle, 1876-1917), Dutch exotic dancer and courtesan. She was accused of being a spy for Germany, and was executed by firing squad at Vincennes, France. The letter is written on headed paper of the Hotel Meurice, Rue de Rivoli, Paris, and a business card is included. Mr Hartley says he has stayed five days longer in Paris than he intended, just to watch her perform, and he is sending her flowers on his departure as a sign of his admiration
