The body of one of the victims of the Malmedy Massacre (17 December 1944) is carried away to be placed on a transport truck by American soldiers. 84 American prisoners of war had been murdered by an S.S.Panzer division during the Battle of the Bulge, the German counter-offensive in the Ardennes area of Belgium in December 1944
