Sopwith Camel aircraft on deck HMS Furious, WW1
Sopwith Camel 2F.1 biplanes on the deck of the aircraft carrier HMS Furious (a modified Courageous-class cruiser) during the First World War. Launched in 1916, HMS Furious served in both World Wars and was scrapped in 1948. This photo was taken just prior to the Tondern raid in July 1918
