V Beach at Gallipoli WWI
V Beach with the SS River Clyde, taken before Asiatic Annie commenced the shelling of the beach. Later a sentry was posted on top of Sedd el Bahr fort, who blew a bugle directly he saw the flash of a gun on the Asiatic cost, one then had 25 seconds to get under cover
