Whippet Tanks 1918
Whippet tanks of the 3rd Battalion at Maillet, some of which had been in action earlier in the day and were the first Whippet tanks to be in action. The advancing infantry are of the New Zealand Division which later in the day filled the gap in the line on the Western Front in France during World War I in March 1918
