WW1 - letter from William Pender, 37 Castle Street, Edinburgh, bookbinder, to the author G K Chesterton, dated 18 May 1916, offering him a copy of a booklet, Prisoners Pie, Ruhleben, New Year 1916. Ruhleben was an internment camp for alien civilians, located to the west of Berlin. Money raised from sales of the booklet was used for the benefit of the prisoners. The price was one shilling and sixpence per booklet
