Workman with slate quarry tram, North Wales
A workman with a slate quarry tram, somewhere in North Wales. This small tram can carry half a ton of raw slate, and one man can operate it, dropping the towing chain between rail and wheel whenever he needs to brake. Trams like these can be attached to Blondins or high wires for dropping into the slate pit
