Scouts with earthquake victims in Patras (Patra), Greece. Many earthquakes occurred in the Ionian area in August 1953, the worst one destroying many buildings in Kefalonia and Zakynthos. The scouts helped with clearing up and humanitarian aid activities, including escorting victims to the mainland
