Sea Scouts of the Thames River Emergency Service on the Polar Expeditionary vessel Discovery which is in the Thames. More Sea Scouts are wanted for the T.R.E.S. the rate of pay is 12s 6d per week, with free food, billeting and uniform and leave is one day in four or five. Leave can be accumulated for boys living at a distance fine work has already been done by these Sea Scouts since war began. They receive their initial training for this tough and adventurous job on board RRS Discovery and are later transferred to stations lower down the Thames. Mr R.
