The British Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin holds a welcoming speech before 8000 Canadians in the Westminster Hall. The Canadians invited to the commemoration ceremony are veterans of the Canadian Corps who in the First World War defeated the Germans in the Battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917
