The opening of the 8th exhibition on chemical apparatus (Achema) organized by the Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA) takes place in the Festhalle Frankfurt. From left: Professor Dr. Paul Duden (Chairman of the DECHEMA and the Association of German Chemists), the Gauobmann of D.A.F.W. Becker, Professor Stantin, Gauleiter and Reich Governor Jakob Sprenger, Major General Emil Leeb, Colonel Fritz Loeb (Head of the Office of German raw materials in the staff of representatives for the four-year plan), Mayor Friedrich Krebs and Dr. Savekouls (representative of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce). On the stands you can see the inscription German standardization'. Date created: 02.07.1937
