Adolf Hitler erases the shame of 1918, 1940
Propaganda poster on the 1940 armistice between Germany and France, signed in the Compiegne wagon. This had already been the scene of the signing of the armistice in 1918. Above are therefore scenes with the German delegation under Matthias Erzberger (center, murdered as a result of his role as signatory of the Schmach (Disgrace)) and Marshal Ferdinand Foch.
