Adolf Hitler on Odeonsplatz, 1933

Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP celebrate the achievement of their goals on November 9, 1933, 10 years after the failed coup. Hitler had become Reich Chancellor that year. At the place under the flag with swastika and Wolfsangel, which can be seen in the background, a commemorative plaque was placed in honor of the martyrs of November 9, 1923, which could only be passed by saluting with the Nazi salute. From then on, the 9th of November became a National Socialist holiday, as part of which the traditional march took place from the Buergerbraeukeller at the Wiener Platz across the Ludwigsbruecke and through the Isartor across the Marienplatz to the Feldherrnhalle and later to the Koenigsplatz, where the Ehrentempel ('Temples of Honor') were dedicated to the victims of the coup
