Adolf Hitler opens the Winter Relief Fund, 1934/35
As always, the opening of the Winterhilfswerk in the Krolloper was accompanied by great pomp with which Hitler staged himself and the party. The Winterhilfswerk played an important role in the early days of NSDAP rule, as they wanted to show themselves as overcoming unemployment and poverty in the German country.
