Adolf Hitler at his headquarters receives the Commander of the Spanish Volunteer Division of the Eastern Front, Lieutenant General Augustin Munoz-Grandes (left) and presented him the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oakleaves 1942 Munoz-Grandes was the Commander of the so-called Blue Division establishment during the Russian campaign. He was replaced in December 1942 from his command and returned to Spain. On that occasion he received the Oak Leaves
