Adolf Hitler says goodbye to Benito Mussolini

Adolf Hitler says goodbye to the Italian Il Duce Benito Mussolini on the platform at the Wolfsschanze headquarters at Rastenburg in East Prussia on 20 July 1944. At the last handshake, Hitler could only use the left hand because his right arm was immobilized as a result of the attempt. Right on the picture: Reich Marshal Hermann Goering and Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop. The visit of Mussolini on 20 July was the last personal meeting between the two dictators
