Adolf Hitler testifies at the trial of Hanns Ludin, Hans Friedrich Wendt and Richard Scheringer. The picture shows the later war criminal Hanns Ludin, who was hanged in Czechoslovakia in 1947. Hitler, supported by his legal counsel Hans Frank, used the publicity of the trial for propaganda purposes and took the so-called oath of legality on September 25, 1930. This oath stated that the NSDAP wanted to achieve power only by legal means
