The airship Graf Zeppelin I (LZ 127), 1931

After landing on Vienna's Aspern airfield, Dr. Hugo Eckener, the Commander of the German Zeppelin airship Graf Zeppelin I (LZ 127), is shot by a film crew of the Austrian army. The first flight of the LZ 127 took place on 18.09.1928. In 1935, the airship completed its 50th America trip commissioned by the DELAG (07.11.1935). The airship was scrapped on the orders of Hermann Goering when the war began in 1939
