The Albrecht Durer monument in Nuremberg at the Albrecht-Durer-Square. The Albrecht-Durer-monument is based on a design by Christian Daniel Rauch and was cast in ore by Johann Daniel Burgschmiet. On the 300th day of death of Albrecht Durer (1828), the foundation stone of the monument was laid. The monument was unveiled in 1840
