Customs boats sail to a ship that has to be inspected in the New York Harbor. The boats belong to the customs patrol (Customs Enforcement Bureau Patrol), of the deputy harbor inspector J.H. Gill and should prevent the smuggling with alcohol, drugs and other contraband. Overall 8 of these boats control the maritime area between Atlantic City and New London, each armed with a machine gun
