American rail mounted gun on the Western front in the First

An American 340mm rail mounted gun fires from its position at a target in the hinterland of the German front, on this occasion on the German corps headquarters approximately 30 km behind the front. The targets were reconnoitered previously by airplanes. A 22 man crew was needed to service the gun, for the movement and installment 122 men were necessary
