The members of the Anti-Nazi Federation of New York with a banner that asks the American state to claim from Germany the release of the American Seaman Lawrence B. Simpson, who the Federation suspects of being in German custody. They stand in front of the State Department and want to be let in to Secretary of State Cordell Hull.
