Anti-German student demonstration in Rome, c. 1925

Students break through a cordon of Carabinieri and Fascist militia who had set up in a street to protect the German Embassy in Rome (then, from 1922, the Villa Wolkonsky on the Esquiline). The picture was taken in Via Conte Rosso, on the right the house No. 24, in the background Via Ludovico di Savoia. Undated photo, probably taken around 1925
