Anti-Nazi demonstration in New York, 1934
At an anti-Nazi rally on Union Square in New York about 3000 demonstrators have gathered, to demand the release of Ernst Thalmann, Carl von Ossietzky and other prisoners of the Nazi regime. After the demonstration, was held a protest march to the German Consulate General at Battery Place. On the posters you can read, among others, the slogan Against Imerpialism War, Stop Shipment of Munition, Down with bloody Fascism. Stop Lynch Terror in the USA, Fascism breeds war and Is it Un-American to fight misery?'. Date created: 23.06.1934
