On the bench, the French Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Aristide Briand and the French Finance Minister Henri Cheron. At the first conference in The Hague the United Kingdom, France, the German Empire, Belgium, Italy and Japan negotiated on the evacuation of the Rhineland and the distribution of German reparations to the Allied States
