As an addendum to the Munich Agreement the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and Adolf Hitler signed a statement which was interpreted as part of the negotiations. On his return to England Chamberlain was waving already at the airport with the supplementary agreement and did the famous exclamation Peace in our time
