Ascent of the first Zeppelin airship LZ 1, 1900
In the evening hours of 02/07/1900, took place the first test trip of a German airship of the type Zeppelin ('LZ 1') above the Bodensee. The airship was 128 feet long and had a gas filling of 11, 300 cubic meters, it was equipped with two 14.2 hp Daimler engines.
