The assassinated Hans Hermes, 1923
On the 4th of June, the 7-year-old son of a Duesseldorf dockworker was shot by a French soldier while he was playing with other children. Here, his body, adorned with branches and leaves, at the mourning ceremony, the bullet is still visible on the left temple
