Attaching badges on steel helmets, 1934
A soldier attaches insignia on Stahlhelms (steel helmets) in the armory of the Wehrmacht. As a symbol of the convergence of the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht leadership, the emblem - a seated eagle with swastika in its claws - is attached on the left side of the helmets. Here Stahlhelms (steel helmets) 18. The soldiers still wear Reichswehr uniforms without the Imperial Eagle, that was applied in 1934. 01.01.1933-31.12.1945
