Auction of Russian art treasures, 1928
In the auction house Lepke in Berlin art treasures from Russian private property were auctioned at the instigation of the Soviet government. Due to numerous complaints by Russian emigrants in Berlin, the district court ordered a break in the auction and the exclusion of some pieces from the auction a short time later
