Austrian soldiers read newspapers in Berlin, 1938
Soldiers read an edition of the Nachtausgabe of Scherl-Verlag. The headline reads: On Wednesday general appeal of the party in the whole Reich, above a cover of the magazine Die Woche that shows the so-called Ostmark (Eastern Realm) of the extended German Reich with a portrait of Adolf Hitler, after the Anschluss (annexation) of Austria. The soldiers wear Nazi national insignia on their Austrian uniforms. 22.03.1938
