Awarding the Mother Cross, 1943
A Nazi party functionary awards a Mother Cross to a mother. The photo was taken at a celebration of district V in Berlin in the Litzmann School for Mother's Day 1943. 100 mothers were decorated with the Honor Cross of the German Mother'. 10 gold and 5 silver medals were awarded. The mothers were presented with flowers by girls of the BDM (League of German Girls)
