The Bamberg Cathedral
The Cathedral of Bamberg. The Imperial Cathedral of St. Peter and George was built by Emperor Heinrich II, who founded the diocese of Bamberg in 1007. The first cathedral was consecrated in 1012, that however burned down later. The new building was consecrated in 1237
