Barre gymnastics of two women of the Giovani Fasciste
At the beginning of July 1939, several young women from every region of Italy came to Rome to join the Giovani Fasciste, a branch of the fascist Gioventu Italiana del Littorio. The 1200 invited women were to learn in different courses contents for group leaders (Capo centuria). The picture, taken on July 6, 1939, shows two women doing gymnastics on the parallel bars. The course at the beginning of July was all about sport and training
