Bartolomeo Vanzetti and Nicola Sacco
The two Italian anarchists Bartolomeo Vanzetti (left) and Nicola Sacco were sentenced to death and executed in the United States in 1927 for communist activities - despite worldwide protests regarding the process and its background. The question of fault remains unsettled until today. Both denied the allegations until the end. Our photo shows the condemned shortly before their execution
