The battleship Preussen, 1908

The SMS Preussen was a Braunschweig class liner of the former Imperial Navy. She was named after the Kingdom of Prussia, at that time the largest part of the German Empire. During the First World War, the Preussen was the flagship of the II Squadron of the High Seas Fleet; first under Vice Admiral Reinhard Scheer then under Rear Admiral Franz Mauve
